RESEARCH & LABORATORY USE ONLY

Why BSR

Three things to look for before you order a research peptide. We do all three.

The peptide research market is awash with Chinese reshippers, fake Certificates of Analysis, and product purity reported as low as 5–75% under independent testing. We built BSR to be the supplier UK research labs can trust, and to back it up where it matters: the lab bench.

01 · DOCUMENTATION

Independent HPLC test on every batch. Certificate published. Lot code on the vial.

Every BSR batch is sent to an independent UK lab for high-performance liquid chromatography purity analysis. The result is a Certificate of Analysis you can download from the product page, cross-referenced to the lot code printed on the vial you receive. If the COA does not match the vial, send it back.

A 2018 study of falsified peptide product found purity as low as 5%, with lead concentrations 10× safety limits. The community knows this is the problem. Our answer is to publish the receipts.

02 · SUPPLY CHAIN

Stocked in the UK. Dispatched from the UK. Not a Chinese reshipper.

A large part of the consumer peptide market is reshipped direct from Chinese factories. That means inconsistent product, no recourse if the batch is wrong, and customs intercepts that delay or destroy orders.

BSR holds inventory at temperature-controlled UK premises. Orders placed before 2pm dispatch the same working day via Royal Mail Tracked. Same time zone, same trading standards, same legal recourse you would expect from any UK supplier.

03 · POSITIONING

Research use only. We say it because we mean it.

BSR products are supplied for laboratory and research use only. We make no therapeutic claims, recommend no human dosing, and do not market on health outcomes.

For UK research labs and clinics, that distinction matters: it keeps the supply line lawful under the MHRA framework and means you are working with a supplier whose paperwork does not put your institution at risk. It also keeps us out of trouble — and our customers with us.

A side-by-side

What "research-grade peptide" means at most suppliers, and what it means at BSR.
